Vickiel was born in the Dominican Republic. When she was 13, her parents understood God wanted them to move to the United States.

She studied Communications at the Moody Bible Institute and earned a M.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies.

Working for the radio drama Unshackled!, developed her knowledge and passion for media as she participated in various productions. 

Vickiel is available for voice over work in English and Spanish, as well as, translating and interpreting for both languages.
